Swimming pools, bike rides and sales meetings

Its been a strange summer, lots of rain this month
Sunday we met up with Uncle Cole Sarah and little Mia for a pool party.. cottonwood heights pool is pretty nice, lots of shallows for me to float in.

Monday morning Dad and I took MOm for her first real road ride... we had borrowed bike a bike from Uncle dave so that MOm could see how she likes road bikes. MOm and Dad cut a few laps around sugarhouse park while i took a nap.. later that day we took Dad to the airport and shipped him off the Bellsports sales meeting.

Dad works the weekend

Today we're going to to Sugarhouse park to watch some bike racing. Uncle Dave and Sean are racing in the morning so we're going to watch them and pick up Dad's race #.. Dad has a 3day dash for cash ahead of him, The goal is for Dad to win as much money as possible. So i'm helping Dad get his stuff ready.


I got a new toy the other day... G-ma terri sent me a shape sorting set! pretty cool, thanks grandma.

High Chair

Yesterday my Kettler high chair showed up..the Fedex man knocked on the door and the next thing Dad new he had become Dad The Builder... thanks Dad. Now I can sit up like a man while I eat my snacks.



MOm went to a baby shower last night, It was a traditional shower, women only, so Dad didn't have to go. MOm's friends are nice but really wierd looking..




Today we're going to watch Dad race the State Championship Criterium. Dad's team is hoping get one of them to the finish line first..obviously.

Happy Bday Grampa Toquero!

Grampa T's celebrated his 61st birthday on the 4th, I can't wait to go to St.G and visit him. As usual we went to Little Gym yesterday, pretty fun.. I was a bit grumpy though, I haven't been sleeping do well. Dad was at little gym, so that was nice.













Dad climbed his favorite mountain, Big Mountain is a portion of the scenic byway route 65 that is closed for the winter. Every spring the road becomes clear of snow before the gate is open..so no cars this time of year. MOm let Dad out of the house for the evening so he joined his team for a mid week training race.

Many Adventures

Thursday Uncle Hemo came over, he and dad went to lunch.


Later that day Uncle Joel showed up and took Dad for a bike ride. I stayed home with Weeks'. Friday I went out to lunch at Mazza with MOm and Dad, it was the second day in a row that Dad had been to Mazza for lunch.(no pictures)

Saturday Dad car pooled with couple of his teammates, They were racing @ Antelope Island, in the rain. We also had a baby shower to attend for Cole & Sarah at 3pm. Dad had this plan to do the race and make it to the baby shower in time, it would have worked if everything had worked out just right.. but it didn't and Dad didn't make it the shower till 4. ..Bad Dad!

Dad is in the dog house for that one and he only made $20 diaper money cause he got 10th.. MOm was not happy, we had to go to Cole & Sarah's by our selves.. We did had fun at the shower though, Dad showed up and introduced me to a bunch of uncles and I mesmerized the ladies during the gift portion of the shower

Sunday Mass

this morning we tagged onto the Contender group ride.. we drafted the group for a while and then headed home. Dad just needed to stretch his legs after yesterday's efforts. We put in 4hrs of trailer time on saturday but i was still anxious to get out again.. the weather has been nice, the birds are chirping.. its a great time to be outside.





MOm is still out running around with her girl friends.. go MOm, play, play,play!

LOOK! Race bikes

Last week Dad let me help build his new race bike, since he let me help with the build, I'm letting him post pictures here today.. One bike is for racing with people over hills and around corners(pic 1) and one is for drag racing by yourself(pic 2).



Dad will be using them both today and then doing another stage tomorrow, hopefully his bikes are fast cause we want him to get some Diaper Money.


By the way, I learned to clap yesterday.. stay tuned for the video.. it's sure to make you coo.

Shriner? or Whiner

Well grama is long gone now, Winnie was sleeping with her every night and now he wakes each morning and runs to find her, he looks for her everywhere but she's not in the clean laundry(pic 1)


Dad seems to think that I might want to be a Shriner, you can see that's not my bag.(pic 2)


Dad is racing all weekend, luckily the race is close but MOm is under the weather, so I might try to act a fool and really wear her down.. that is my bag.... baby

Blog Jam, catching up on adventures

I've been having lots of fun and adventures with grama in town, but sunday MOm tried to reset the modem with a metal poki thing and fried it, so now I'm finally able to post my adventures.

So where do I start? Sunday we went for a family cycle, MOm and grama rode trikes, I of course choose the Chariot(pic 1-2)



Over the weekend Dad won a bike race, the race features a dirt road section and the road was muddy so Dad like that(pic 3)


Monday I went to the zoo with grama and Mom. Our zoo is small but has all the animal you want to see(pic 4-7)


Yesterday I went to Little Gym, check back tomorrow as Little gym was full of activities and requires it's own post(pic 8)

Lose 6lbs this week!

Dad is on a Forze gps diet this week*, Forze is a bar made by the nutrition company that Dad reps. Dad has his own crazy Forze crash diet.. Coffee, Forze as needed and nutritious salad for dinner, He eats half a Forze bar whenever he get hungry.. then for dinner he has a big salad full of vegis and a chicken.

his thought process is it takes the same will power to cut alot or a few calories, so he goes hard at it and gets the pound off.
Say what you like about Dads madness, he knows what he's doing... or so he says..

Why loose weight? race season is here and Dad wants to maximize his power to weight ratio.

Shell-ed on Big Cottonwood Hill Climb

This past Friday was really warm so dad and his buddies decided to ride Big Cottonwood Canyon. So Dad set out with Joel, Luke and sean.. all featured Uncles from my blog.





Sean is still mad about us beating him to the top of Emigration...twice, so he's always trying to put the hurt on Dad when they ride.. plus Sean is a hammer head so he rides hard from the time he leaves the house till he gets home

As soon as Dad and friends hit the road Sean drilled it off the front of the group, here is a pic of him riding away.

Dad encouraged Sean to pace himself as the ultimate goal was to climb Big Cottonwood, which is a mellow 16 mile canyon...anyway..

Apparently as soon as they started to climb Big C, sean disappeared.. not off the front but shell-ed off the back like soft shell crab at dinner time. It wasn't long(1mile) before Uncle Luke suffered the same fate... all the while Joel and Dad were catching up on each others lives as it had been a bit since they rode together.

Dad ended up in the DOg House that day though cause he was late to get home which made MOm late for work.... Bad Dad!
