Christmas tree 0 christmas tree

Christmas is here, Dad let us get a tree this year.
Saturday night after Dads bike race we went to the tree store for a Douglas fur.
MOm picked out a nice one, we got it trimmed up and took it home.
not sure what is up with Dad's face in these pics

Then we had to rush Dad to the airport so he could race his bike some more..in Portland.

Dad wrapped up the Utah series with a Win and 2nd overall in the series, then in Portland he won the final day of the USGP, putting an exclamation point on his series overall win.

Dad hits the big time while I live thug life!

Dad got some big time exposure today, In Velo News. Its the premier magazine for US cycling.
pretty nice write up from what Dad tells me.
I'm really into my tricycle these days. I ride it everywhere I can.
It was cold out yesterday so Dad made me some thumb-less mittens..
out of my socks..the guys at the bike shop said I looked like a burn victim.

You may be wondering if I'm walking yet, yes and no. I wobble around a good bit,

sometimes I revert to crawling, especially when I get tired

Snack time is sometimes fun time, as these videos show.

I'm into sharing,..with the dogs.

Thanks has been Given, Dad Wins USGP series! and Utah State Championship

It seems that winter is here, I've had snow in my backyard for a week now.
Dad and I are still getting out for rides though, sometimes in the Chariot but I prefer riding my own tricycle.
It is still Dad powered but at least I'm more involved in the riding of it.

Dad is going out of town again this weekend, this time to Portland, OR. for the final round of the US Grand Prix of Cyclocross. In New Jersey Dad scored enough points to win the series, Now he just needs to show his face on the final day to represent the jersey.Dad also became Utah State Championship a week ago.. this is his first state championship, he says we should be proud...so I guess we will be.

Thanksgiving was fun..
MOm thought it was going to be like this...

Instead we had friends over...Dad calls them stragglers, for a full family style meal.

Boo to Double Cross weekends

We were at Wheeler Farms all weekend.
Dad had 2 cross races this weekend so we decided to attend..usually they are kind of far so MOm and I don't bother. The weather was really nice so we met up with Asher and his mom Lizzy on saturday and Mia and her mom Sarah on sunday.

Dad had a good weekend, Uncle Bart took a beating on Saturday and then handed it back to Dad on Sunday.

Big Week!

Plenty of goings on this week... My Uncle Brad and Aunt Amy came to town with my new friend Tosh, it was MOm and Dad's anniversary and Dad beat his arch nemesis...Uncle Bart.

Since the Alberts were in town we spent most of the "Anniversary" day with them, then Brad and Amy were nice enough to little man sit me while MOm and Dad went out for a romantic dinner.

MOm and Dad bough each other the same card?!

Last weekend Dad won the local cross race,
My Dad says this is kind of a big deal cause Bart hasn't been beat since before I was born.. and Dad was the last one to do it. He says I should be proud, so i guess i'll have to be.

Friday Mom took off for a "girls retreat" in San Diego.. So it been boys weekend here...except yesterday when I had a baby sitter so Dad could race. And Dad blew it too, Dad got second to Not Bart and missed out on $100 diaper money! Get the whole story here.

Lately I've been into Stacking things and using my walker.

MOm doesn't come home till Monday.. wish me luck

Sunday Brunch?

No this is not an invitation to sunday brunch, just a belated post about our sunday. I can't believe Dad is so busy that it take him 4days to post to my blog...but that's what his excuse is anyway.
Sunday a.m. we met up with Uncle Dave and family for a little ride. .. that was pretty fun.

Then we met up with Tom Lee and some other peeps for brunch at Trio. I ate some potatoes and let people hold and praise me.

After brunch I was pretty tired so Dad put me in my crib and i went straight to sleep.

her#'s for Emigration canyon climb- Dist-7.7mi, 56min, avg watts-91, Avg hr-161bpm.
Anyway those are the #'s

And I like to stand up against the fridge and pull off the magnets... that is all.

Swimming pools, bike rides and sales meetings

Its been a strange summer, lots of rain this month
Sunday we met up with Uncle Cole Sarah and little Mia for a pool party.. cottonwood heights pool is pretty nice, lots of shallows for me to float in.

Monday morning Dad and I took MOm for her first real road ride... we had borrowed bike a bike from Uncle dave so that MOm could see how she likes road bikes. MOm and Dad cut a few laps around sugarhouse park while i took a nap.. later that day we took Dad to the airport and shipped him off the Bellsports sales meeting.

Swinging in the park

So I did get MOm and Dad to take me to the park for some swinging. We rode bikes over to Liberty Park, that's where the good play zones are... here are a few images to prove we really did it.

here is a pic of Dad looking Pro @ the state championship road race this past weekend.. to bad he got shelled on the final climb.. probably cause he's carrying a few pints of ice cream right around the middle there.

9month check up

I turned 9month the other day, so we scheduled a check up with Dr. Peter. I'm progressing like a natural baby, so thats good.

Yesterday MOm took me for a drag to the park to go swinging. It was her first time dragging the Chariot, she liked it.. you know I liked it.

Who needs toys when Dad's toys are so entertaining!

Dad gets Diaper Money at State Crit!

Saturday morning Dad and I went down to Pioneer park to pick up Dad's race # and watch Uncle Dave Cole race.

While we were down there I met Uncle Dave Harward and we watched the ladies Cat 1-2 race.

Aunt Tiff won the race and became state champion!
Dad wasn't racing till 3pm so we went home so i could nap. Dad went to his crit and MOm took me to aunt Amanda's on her way to work...Dad scooped me up after his race and we went home so I could have dinner and take a bath.

Dad's Crit
Saturday was the Utah State Championship Crit, the winner of each race would be the State Champ for their respective categories and have the bragging rights that go with it. Dad was racing the final race of the day, Cat 1-2, 90minutes of pain on a one block circuit with 50 guys. The speeds are high, Dad's average speed was 27mph for the hour and a half.
The race started with many different teams sending guys off the front of the race trying to establish a break, a break is a group of guys that ride off the front of the race. 20minutes into the race Dad put in a hard attack(at least that what he tells me).
Dad was off the front for a lap, this pulled a few strong guys out of the pack and soon Dad was in a ten man break.

It took a about 40 minutes but the break lapped the field, so now With 30minutes left all Dad had to worry about were the 10guys he was in the break with..everyone else was a lap down. This was great for Dad cause suddenly he had teammates to draft off and keep him out of the wind..Dads team rallied around him, leading him around the last 2laps, driving it as hard as they could, the idea was to keep the pace fast so that no other teams could attack.Coming into the last corner the group started sprinting, Dad gave it his all and came up with a fine 3rd place! Nice job Dad! thanks to FFKR for the great team work!( thanks to Steven for the pics)
Diaper Money!
