Happy Birthday to me

Today is my Birthday! I'm One! I wasn't actually born till 6:59pm but I'm celebrating now anyway.

This week we've been baby sitting Baby Mia. Aunt Sarah drops her off and Uncle Cole picks her up.. Babies are cool.

High Chair

Yesterday my Kettler high chair showed up..the Fedex man knocked on the door and the next thing Dad new he had become Dad The Builder... thanks Dad. Now I can sit up like a man while I eat my snacks.



MOm went to a baby shower last night, It was a traditional shower, women only, so Dad didn't have to go. MOm's friends are nice but really wierd looking..




Today we're going to watch Dad race the State Championship Criterium. Dad's team is hoping get one of them to the finish line first..obviously.

Happy Bday Grampa Toquero!

Grampa T's celebrated his 61st birthday on the 4th, I can't wait to go to St.G and visit him. As usual we went to Little Gym yesterday, pretty fun.. I was a bit grumpy though, I haven't been sleeping do well. Dad was at little gym, so that was nice.













Dad climbed his favorite mountain, Big Mountain is a portion of the scenic byway route 65 that is closed for the winter. Every spring the road becomes clear of snow before the gate is open..so no cars this time of year. MOm let Dad out of the house for the evening so he joined his team for a mid week training race.

Motor Boating!

Yesterday I went to little gym as usual, I was doing alot of motor boating there. After little gym, Dad met up with us and we went for a stroll around sugarhouse... we shot a motor boating video and grabbed a cookie at the Paradise Bakery.

Uncle Daryl

Uncle Daryl has been in town, he and Dad work together..Really he gave Dad his job and tells him what to do.

Daryl or DP was one of the best Mountain bike pros back in the early 90's.. when Dad was winning races at 17, DP was winning World Cup races. Daryl doesn't race anymore but he's still fast as a lunatic on a meth powered rampage.

Now Uncle Daryl is a dedicated family man and one of the coolest uncles I have.

Big Boy Style

Sometimes when I hang around with MOm we'll watch Oprah or Ellen.. I sometimes sit up by myself, Big Boy style.

Reality

My blog always has stories about happy times and pics of happy Me... the reality is that I am a baby. most of the time I'm grumpy..

Right now I'm cutting a tooth..take a look at the harsh reality of my life.

Oasis Brunch

Mom and Dad took me out to brunch yesterday, Oasis is my favorite spot.. it's very spiritual and there is a diverse range of people that frequent the Oasis.

Toys R US

yesterday we strolled through Sugarhouse to the to the Toy R US, I was looking for a new Baby Einstein to be entertained by. The sun was out but the temperature was in the mid 30's.. Baby Einstein titles were on sale so we got two, one about animals of the world and one multi language title...I should be entertained for a while.

Fox in our back yard

Yesterday when I awoke from my nap, Dad was out in the garage and MOm was ready to go to work. MOm brought me down from the crib and we went to tell Dad she was leaving. What did we see in the back yard? a stray Fox!

Chris Fox was poking around our garage looking for bike swap items. First he tried to take Mr. Simon, Dad convinced him to take some bike parts instead.. he gave us some diaper money.

Emigration TTT new best time

Dad took me for a drag in the chariot today, we met up with a bunch of my uncles. Luke, Joel and Sean met us at the house, then we headed north to pick up Uncle Dave. We were planning on climbing Emigration canyon so I convinced Dad to try for a new best time on the way up.

The last time we did a Trailer Time Trial up Emigration Sean was along for the ride, Dad beat him to the top that day.

Sean thought that was bull s%#t. Dad says no man wants to get beat by another man, especially with a handicap(trailer)...Dad gave Sean fair warning that he would do his best to beat him to the top this time as well... Sure enough we put a minute into him on the upper slopes of Emi.



So our new best time is 33min 5sec...We trimmed 3 minute off our previous attempt...Dad was curious as to the weight of the Chariot so he put on the scale. Our combined weight, the trailer and I, 47lbs.. pretty sweet.

Ramp Test

Dad is helping his friend Dave get faster, so on Friday Dave came over for a Ramp Test. Dave rode his bike in place while Dad slowly increased the resistance. He kept making it harder and harder till dave cried...I guess that's how one gets fast.


MOm and I tried to have a photo shoot.. I kinda cooperated.




On Monday I have my first photo shoot as a baby model.. MOm has a friend who make baby slings. MOm and I are both so cute that she asked us to model for the catalog.
