Boo to Double Cross weekends

We were at Wheeler Farms all weekend.

Dad had 2 cross races this weekend so we decided to attend..usually they are kind of far so MOm and I don't bother. The weather was really nice so we met up with Asher and his mom Lizzy on saturday and Mia and her mom Sarah on sunday.

Dad had a good weekend, Uncle Bart took a beating on Saturday and then handed it back to Dad on Sunday.

I'm excited to show off my costumes this weekend, even though MOm has been playing dress up with me for most of my life.

MOm got me a Ethanasourus Rex costume

Dad made me a USGP leader skin suit, so I can be him for halloween?

Grandma Goulet got me Pepper costume.

I guess Dad wants me to HTFU, the leader suit is not very warm and he expects me to wear it to the Cross race today.

Dad is racing at Wheeler Farms, its close so MOm and I will go cheer him on..sometime MOm doesn't cheer.

Wheeler also has animals and stuff, its a working replica of what people did before Whole Foods. Some of my friend are gonna meet us there.

Dad was off at the USGP in Kentucky last weekend. He won the saturday race and got 2nd on sunday... so he's still has the leaders jersey. In two weeks he'll be in New Jersey for the Mercier Cup.

Big Week!

Plenty of goings on this week... My Uncle Brad and Aunt Amy came to town with my new friend Tosh, it was MOm and Dad's anniversary and Dad beat his arch nemesis...Uncle Bart.

Since the Alberts were in town we spent most of the "Anniversary" day with them, then Brad and Amy were nice enough to little man sit me while MOm and Dad went out for a romantic dinner.

Last weekend Dad won the local cross race,
My Dad says this is kind of a big deal cause Bart hasn't been beat since before I was born.. and Dad was the last one to do it. He says I should be proud, so i guess i'll have to be.

Friday Mom took off for a "girls retreat" in San Diego.. So it been boys weekend here...except yesterday when I had a baby sitter so Dad could race. And Dad blew it too, Dad got second to Not Bart and missed out on $100 diaper money! Get the whole story here.

Lately I've been into Stacking things and using my walker.

MOm doesn't come home till Monday.. wish me luck

Finally Dad is on top of things!

Its been quite a while since my last post but finally Dad is on top of things. It been a busy month for Dad and that makes for minimal post to my blog.

In August MOm and I agreed that Dad should satisfy his quarter life crisis by racing the USGP of Cyclocross.

This is asking alot of us because the series is 8 races over 4 weekends and calls for Dad to travel across the country. His first journey included a trade show in Vegas so he left us for 6days!

Dad did us proud though and won the first 2 races and now has the Men 35+ points leaders jersey!..only 6 race left!

One of Dads good friends from the "old snowboard days" was nice enough to pick him up at the airport and provide him a car and shelter for the weekend.. thanks Girardi family!

While Dad was gone MOm took my party hopping, one saturday we went to 4 birthday partys..

thats cool.

Now that Dad is back things are almost normal, I've been cruising with him to visit friends and recently I got to cruise the sidewalk out side of Uncle Daves house.

After "training" Dad has his bottle of recovery drink.. I think that cool, so I want on one too.. if he doesn't let me hold his big boy bottle I throw a fit.

Well I guess Dad has finally seen fit to update my blog, I've been telling him for a week to stop focusing on himself and do something I want him to do.

I learned how to say Shhh, thats pretty cool.. its one of the things Dad tells the dogs all the time..and I'm close to saying Paolo, cause Dad is always yelling at Paolo to go to his bed during my dinner time.

I'm not walking yet but I'm getting into plenty of mischief.. Dad says I'm getting grabby. Anything I can reach I grab. MOm and Dad chase me around the house trying to put the place together while I pull it apart.

I don't think these guys can ever get this place Ethan proof as I am all seeing and of course all grabbing.

I had my first real paid baby sitter, I've had people watch me before but never hired hand. Lucy is my official sitter, don't try to get her contact info.. she is mine and I'm not willing to share.

Saturday we went for a family ride with some new friends from MOm's mom group. Christine and Drew came over with little Lance in tow and we rolled up Emigration Canyon.. Everyone that passed Dad and Drew comment on how tuff they were cause they were dragging us up the canyon. I can just barely fit into my new Giro Spree, cause my Dad is cool I get to rock the 2010 products..my helmet has the new One Step fit system and flashing lights on the back...and construction vehicle graphics!
I want to start a Chariot racing club so all the dads can go head to head.. it should be a category for USA cycling... Imagine Sugarhouse Crit with Chariots!

Seems like Dad is to busy these day to help me with my blog and MOm has always refused to update my blog, so....the blog has been reduced to weekly posts?!

This week has really flown by with Monday being a holiday. Grandma went home late tuesday night, I had to wake up at 10pm and drive with her and Dad to the airport..tough love, tougher for Grandma though..I'm not sure what a "red eye"is but Dad says its not fun.

Before Grandma left we were going to the park a bunch... here are some snaps from our adventures.

Most of the time I'm not at the Park, I'm at home. One would think with all the cool toy i have that I would just play and play with them all the time....truth is my favorite thing is to cruise the house.

I like to play with the recycling, load the dishwasher and of course try to get into the trash zone...I'm usually hanging with the dogs or looking to see what they're up to.

A weeks worth of posts in picture form

Time really flys these days. Its already been a week since my last post and I've had so many adventures.

I think it was monday that Grandma, Dad and I went for a walk up mammary grove and around City Creek.

On Tuesday MOm, Grandma and I went to Thanks Giving Point to see some botanical garden.. I'm not overly amused by plants. There were some fish to look at and I generally like adventures as long as my diaper is clean and I'm not sleepy.

Later in the week we got on bikes for a Parade of Yards in our neighborhood. MOm wants to land scrape the font yard so we toured the neighbors yards to see who does it right and what not to do.

There are some interesting yards in our general area. One of our neighbors must be a landscape artist/handy man cause his yard is like a example of every technique he is capable of. Look closely at his yard its weird.
Another neighbor gives away fruit and Vegis, just don't take his table. On our journey we noticed this cool car, then we decided to get a coffee at the Coffee Garden with the hipsters.
