Swimming pools, bike rides and sales meetings

Its been a strange summer, lots of rain this month
Sunday we met up with Uncle Cole Sarah and little Mia for a pool party.. cottonwood heights pool is pretty nice, lots of shallows for me to float in.

Monday morning Dad and I took MOm for her first real road ride... we had borrowed bike a bike from Uncle dave so that MOm could see how she likes road bikes. MOm and Dad cut a few laps around sugarhouse park while i took a nap.. later that day we took Dad to the airport and shipped him off the Bellsports sales meeting.

This week MOm and I have been hitting the pool. I love the water, and snacks of course.

Fathers day without Dad

I've been under the weather for the last few days, green stuff out the nose, fever, cough.. MOm says i sound like a smoker...not fun.

Dad was doing a stage race over the weekend, the High Uintas Classic. The plan was to drive up to Evanston on sunday and watch Dad race the final stage, maybe have diner and then go home..but mother nature had different plans. Dad had been racing in the rain all weekend and it didn't look like the weather would improve before the crit, so he recommended we stay home..so we did.

The weather did improve long enough for to get the final stage started but Dad's group ended up only doing 3 of the 16 scheduled laps..bummer for Dad.. on the up side Dad ended up 8th overall in the stage race and he won a sexy calves contest during the awards party so he brought home some decent diaper money.

Mr. Dragon Fly

I've been working on my cruising tactics, I still prefer dragging my lower half to actual crawling but I do get some pretty good bridge-ups going. Recently I even pulled myself up onto the dishwasher. While I was stuck there Dad took this picture instead of helping me.

The other day Dad brought a friend home from his bike ride. This cute little dragon fly hitched a ride on Dad's jersey, all the way from the high country at the top of millcreek.

Mark the neighbor had to mow our lawn the other day, he probably felt bad for MOm, or he wanted to clean up the neighborhood since he's selling his house... either way he's a yardsman and as you can see he has the right equipment.. he did the whole neighborhood in 20 minutes, our yard took 3.

Swinging in the park

So I did get MOm and Dad to take me to the park for some swinging. We rode bikes over to Liberty Park, that's where the good play zones are... here are a few images to prove we really did it.

here is a pic of Dad looking Pro @ the state championship road race this past weekend.. to bad he got shelled on the final climb.. probably cause he's carrying a few pints of ice cream right around the middle there.

where did the week go?

I can't believe it has been a week since my last post. Its been pretty rainy here.. with moments of sun. I've been doing my normal activities, going to the park, little gym, strolling around the neighborhood... On friday I went with Dad and Shaun to Sugarhouse park for some Boccie, that was pretty cool.


Today is family day and the weather looks nice, perhaps we'll go for a ride or go to the park for a swing.

All we do is party!

Last night we went party hoping, First to a going away jam for one of Dad's teammates...everyone wanted to hold me there.

Then we went to the Fox's Den to celebrate Shana's Bday, it was a ladies only party but Fox needed more testosterone in his immediate area so we were there for support. For Dad is was a tour du snacks, bratts at the going away party and tacos at the Fox's Den.
