Graduation, Class of August 11th 2009

Tuesday was graduation day for Bugs at Little Gym. Its my second graduation from Bugs since its age based and I wasn't eligible for Birds till I became 11months.

Usually there are a lot of Dads at graduation day, the Moms trick them into attending cause its graduation but as I mentioned for most of us this is our second graduation. Dad did come to little gym this time, not cause he was tricked, he just had the time this week.

Drunk off Watermelon juice

Sometimes my Dad will make us watermelon slushies. Often I will drink to much and become belligerent, I will demand wild things of the dogs and look around in a confused manner.

For some reason Dad finds this amusing.

Bath Time is still fun time

When I was little I liked my bath time, as i've gotten bigger I progressed from my little tub to the Big Boy claw foot tub.

In the last few months though, I haven't been enjoying my baths. While I did enjoy drinking the bath water, I mostly found bath time to be a nuisance.

The other day everything changed for me, I discovered splashing.. boy is that fun. I can sit in the tub till my toes shrivel up, just splashing away.

Sunday Brunch?

No this is not an invitation to sunday brunch, just a belated post about our sunday. I can't believe Dad is so busy that it take him 4days to post to my blog...but that's what his excuse is anyway.

Sunday a.m. we met up with Uncle Dave and family for a little ride. .. that was pretty fun.

Then we met up with Tom Lee and some other peeps for brunch at Trio. I ate some potatoes and let people hold and praise me.

After brunch I was pretty tired so Dad put me in my crib and i went straight to sleep.

MOm gets wired for Power

MOm has gone full Pro, her bike now features a PowerTap computer. Dad thought it would be fun to monitor MOm's heart rate and power output, so he put the PowerTap on her bike and we set out for Little Mountain.

In Me news- I like to eat black beans for dinner and turkey and watermelon, pretty much anything actually.

And I like to stand up against the fridge and pull off the magnets... that is all.

3 day weekends are Hella Cool

Friday was Pioneer day or Founders day or Pie and beer day... whatever you want to call it, some just call it the 24th of July.

The 24th is a big holiday here in Utah, bigger than the 4th. We have parades and fireworks.

90% of businesses are closed but since its not a federal holiday we can still receive mail and packages.

I like when the mail comes, often there are surprises for me... a nice new onesie came threw the mail slot on friday. Dad says that my new shirt is funny but only if you've been to bay area.

since I haven't been to the "bay" i don't get it, but I like it anyway..thanks Uncle Chas.

MOm's friends decided to have a BBQ to celebrate the 24th, so we went enjoy the company of friends and babies.

Today Dad de-iced the freezer, he called it a win-win-win. We got more space in the freezer, I got cool ice chunks to suck on and we use the excess ice to cool the house!
