Happy 5th of July!

Happy 5th of July! and happy birthday to Grandma Mimi!

Since the 4th falls on a Sunday Utah celebrated our Independence on the 3rd

the parade and fire works celebrations all on saturday. This allowed us to extend the celebration

through the weekend...so why not celebrate the 5th as well?

On the 4th we went to Park City to see their parade

We met up with Dustin and Trisha and spectated till the parade wall almost over

we split early to beat the traffic as most of the Salt Lake had driven to PC for the celebration

Mom and I went to the outlets looking for a belt and left Dad in PC with Dustin

so they could ride big bikes

It is hard to believe it has only been a week since I got my sandbox

I've been playing in it every day, Dad put it under the tree so its always nice and shady

Dad has been teaching me to mow the lawn so that he can ride his bike more

I like it but Mom says I'm not ready for a big boy mower yet

Dude's Weekend at the sandbox

Mom took a break from us this weekend and headed out for a "Moms weekend" in Park City

so we had "Dudes weekend"

Dad decided that we would build a sandbox so we went to Home Depot

we had some 2x4s left over from the old ramp so we picked up 400lbs of sand and headed home

I watched Dad build the box till it was nap time, when I woke up it was ready for me..

so much fun!

Dad thought it was time to educate me on Audi racing so we spent some time

watching group B rally footage on youtube...cool


Uncle JP came over to put the finishing touches on our gate. We needed a hole drilled in our driveway but Dad didn't have a masonry bit or a hammer drill...I had to check the hole depth to make sure it was up to spec.

Dad is still riding his big bike. Uncle Sean got a bike so Dad took him out for his first ride

they tried to find the moose trail but ended up on a wild moose chase

a 45min ride turned into a 4hr tour...a 4 hour tour

Dad said the views were nice though

and luckily he brought some food and water

Happy Faja's day!

In honor of fathers I've dressed in some outfits that Dad's dad got me

Grandpa Mike sometimes goes to the outfitters for fishing gear

and finds himself in the children's dept.

Last weekend we had a family photo shoot

with Devina Fear, Devina is practically a family friend, Mom has known her for years

It was a really cold day for june but we went to the park anyway

and pretended that is was warm out

Devina said we got some great pics, I'm excited to see them

Check out this cool train set Dad found for me on Ebay

It has Thomas the train and a bunch of his friends

I really like the trains but the track can be frustrating sometimes

Also last weekend, Aunt Jojo and Uncle Scott paid us a visit

Scott built a fence for us while Dad played foreman

now we have a nice working fence/gate that should deter the dogs from escaping...

you should have seen the joke of a fence we had before this

Dad had built it out of pvc webbing and pvc pipes

Grand parents and Thomas come to town

Thomas the train was visiting Heber for Memorial weekend

so we decided to go see him

Grandma and Grandpa came up front St. George and we made a family weekend of it

Thomas moved real slow, Dad said he could run faster
either way I loved it!
After a big day of riding trains I needed to refuel ...with surf and turf


Recently I slipped off the toilet and caught my face on an unprotected bolt
don't worry
as you can see I still have my eye and I'm almost healed up already




Over the last few weekends Builder Dad has given way to Demolition Dad and then Yard Core Dad
Dad tore down a skateboard ramp that was in the back yard
trimmed the trees front and back, turned on the sprinklers

and got the swamp cooler going....
Dad got a new bike though, I'm afraid we may lose Productive Dad to
Downhill Dad

Dad has been abducted

MOm is pretty sUre that Dad hAs beEn replaCed by and aliEn pod

He haSn't beeN riDing his biKe much

Grandma was hEre in April, that wAs great

she eNtertAined me lots

that wAs cool, we weNt out by the saLt flats and I got to see aLot of nothing

More recently I'Ve been into trUcks buSes and construCti0n equiPment

luckily tHere is lots of coNstruction in SLC, Dad takes me to the job siTes so I can see the gEar up close

Thursday we alMost went to Florida to viSit Grandpa Mike for his 70th birtHday

unfortunately the plaNe was brokEn so they kiCk us off the plane..

that ruined our traVel plans as wE had more connections that dAy and a short trAvel window..

whatEver that means... thats wHat Dad said anyway.

so I g0t to see planes up cloSe and actually be insiDe one..I guess soMeday i'll actually to fly

in one... so sorry Grampa, Happy Birthday, we loVe you and hope to sEe you soon
