Catch up Mega post

Halloween!
We really stretched Halloween out this year.
It started with a parade at my pre pre school on thursday...
yes I now go to pre pre school, its pretty cool. Just once a week
we make crafts and learn to share

Saturday we went to the Children's Discovery zone to see some ghouls
and practice our trick or treating

Sunday we went to Aunt Jacqui's for BoBo's birthday
and
more Halloween festivities

Big Boy Room
This weekend I got my big boy room all set up
we went to Ikea to pick out some items. One of shred kids(now grown up) that Dad coached met us there with his daughter Madeline
Madeline and I played around Ikea and then we all went out for Bar-B-Q

Mom and I painted a cubby for my room
and
Dad built my furniture and shot some pics of the dogs noses

oh ya...Dad is still riding his bikes but not racing
So now I have this cool big boy room for all my toys and my own bed...the dogs love it too as a secondary dogs lair

Born with a silver spoon.. well not really

I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth but I was handed one down from through the Goulet/Reed lineage and a nice silver cup from my Grandpa Mike.
I love it, the spoon is a shorty, just the right size for a little man like myself
I've been grubbing all sorts of big boy food....as you can see.

Dad has been going downhilling on the weekends
here are a few images from his adventures

Weekend Picnic

Yesterday we let Dad go downhilling in Park City for the day, MOm and I met up with Baby Mia and Aunt Sarah for a shop and water play mission.
When Dad got home we decided to got to Sugarhouse park for a picnic by the stream
The water is freezing cold but you get used to it, or at least you feet go numb
I like to throw rocks in the water and make a big splash
Uncle Sean got a big bike recently, Dad has been taking him around the trails
helping him to stretch his comfort zone
Dad says its mind over matter...the bike doesn't mind so it doesn't matter.

here Uncle Sean contemplates a drop off while a rusty skeleton taunts him

Happy 5th of July!

Happy 5th of July! and happy birthday to Grandma Mimi!
Since the 4th falls on a Sunday Utah celebrated our Independence on the 3rd
the parade and fire works celebrations all on saturday. This allowed us to extend the celebration
through the weekend...so why not celebrate the 5th as well?
On the 4th we went to Park City to see their parade
We met up with Dustin and Trisha and spectated till the parade wall almost over
we split early to beat the traffic as most of the Salt Lake had driven to PC for the celebration
Mom and I went to the outlets looking for a belt and left Dad in PC with Dustin
so they could ride big bikes

It is hard to believe it has only been a week since I got my sandbox
I've been playing in it every day, Dad put it under the tree so its always nice and shady

Dad has been teaching me to mow the lawn so that he can ride his bike more

I like it but Mom says I'm not ready for a big boy mower yet

Grand parents and Thomas come to town

Thomas the train was visiting Heber for Memorial weekend
so we decided to go see him
Grandma and Grandpa came up front St. George and we made a family weekend of it

Thomas moved real slow, Dad said he could run faster
either way I loved it!
After a big day of riding trains I needed to refuel ...with surf and turf

Recently I slipped off the toilet and caught my face on an unprotected bolt
don't worry
as you can see I still have my eye and I'm almost healed up already

Over the last few weekends Builder Dad has given way to Demolition Dad and then Yard Core Dad
Dad tore down a skateboard ramp that was in the back yard
trimmed the trees front and back, turned on the sprinklers

and got the swamp cooler going....
Dad got a new bike though, I'm afraid we may lose Productive Dad to
Downhill Dad
