Y is for Yacht

All of this snow is cool and all but I'm sick of being cooped up in the house

the iPad can only entertain me so much

Yesterday we got about 8inches in the yard and 36 in the mountains

I didn't care that is was snowy, I took Dad to the park for fresh tracks.

With all the good snow in the mountains Dad decided to go snowboarding
I stayed home to drive Mom nuts...after Dad got home from his work/play day
I took him back out for a few hrs of trucks and bikes around the neighborhood

kicking snow and checking out what our neighbors are up to....looks like the guy around the corner

has a new dating strategy

Happy Thanksgiving again!

ThanksGiving came around this week, we celebrated last week in St G. but had nothing better to do so we got together with Baby Mia and her family and some other stragglers to give thanks once again

It was fun cause Mia and Ara were there and uncle Cole's big dogs

On black friday Mom went shopping for some deals

Dad and I went to LakeTown Bicycles to entertain me and to drop off a bike with Dad's friend Phil...phil is going to do his first cross race.

we ate some bagels and watched Phil do some wheelies before going home for a nap

Saturday Mom had a work meeting and Dad took off to race his cross bike so I stayed home with a sitter

Sunday was real snowy, we woke to 4inches in the yard

so Dad and I shoveled, then we went to the park..it was empty
we spent the rest of the day in the house watching movies and catching 40winks

Last night Dad shoveled another 4inches and another 4inches this morning

so we're getting some good snows

Christmas is here, Dad let us get a tree this year.

Saturday night after Dads bike race we went to the tree store for a Douglas fur.

MOm picked out a nice one, we got it trimmed up and took it home.

Then we had to rush Dad to the airport so he could race his bike some more..in Portland.

Dad wrapped up the Utah series with a Win and 2nd overall in the series, then in Portland he won the final day of the USGP, putting an exclamation point on his series overall win.

It seems that winter is here, I've had snow in my backyard for a week now.

Dad and I are still getting out for rides though, sometimes in the Chariot but I prefer riding my own tricycle.

It is still Dad powered but at least I'm more involved in the riding of it.

Dad is going out of town again this weekend, this time to Portland, OR. for the final round of the US Grand Prix of Cyclocross. In New Jersey Dad scored enough points to win the series, Now he just needs to show his face on the final day to represent the jersey.Dad also became Utah State Championship a week ago.. this is his first state championship, he says we should be proud...so I guess we will be.
