Posting Up

Here is the video of my new move, Dad calls it posting up.

Today Dad de-iced the freezer, he called it a win-win-win. We got more space in the freezer, I got cool ice chunks to suck on and we use the excess ice to cool the house!

MOm gets a new ride

After returning the borrowed bike that MOm had been riding the writing was on the wall. MOm needed a road bike of her own. Lucky for us Dad works for a french company that produced really nice bikes.. and tiny ones at that.. so MOm got this 2010 LOOK 566.

yesterday was the maiden voyage for the 566, the bike was to Mom's liking and it makes her looks like a real pro....

.... Obviously we're happy about that!

We are still alive

when the blog post disappear for a more than a week the grand parents get nervous.. the calls start coming in, "are you guys ok, is everything alright?" I don't field the calls of course, dad does.

I am at the mercy of my parents..they tell me when to sleep, how to eat and of course do my blogging for me.

July has been busy for Dad. Sales meetings and making up for missed time on the job has kept him from documenting my actions.. and MOm refuses to do my blogging... so anyway we're fine over here.

I've transitioned from slithering like a lizard to standing up using neighboring objects. I skipped the actual crawl as i prefer the ease of supporting myself on my belly(soon i will provide photos)

I eat everything, I'm not really picky.. and i take big boy baths now. No need for the tub within a tub.

Yesterday Dad cut my hair, he did a pretty good job.. at least its as good as the $6 haircuts he gets..soon I will post a picture of my new dew, you can kind of see it in this video of me eating Ice cream.

MOm rides Emigration

Yesterday we rode Emigration canyon, its only MOms second road ride but she's pretty strong. from the house its about 16miles to the top of the canyon.. just over 2hrs round trip for MOm..Dad says thats a good first time.

We ran into Uncle Dave and he took this snap of us at the top.

Swimming pools, bike rides and sales meetings

Its been a strange summer, lots of rain this month
Sunday we met up with Uncle Cole Sarah and little Mia for a pool party.. cottonwood heights pool is pretty nice, lots of shallows for me to float in.

Monday morning Dad and I took MOm for her first real road ride... we had borrowed bike a bike from Uncle dave so that MOm could see how she likes road bikes. MOm and Dad cut a few laps around sugarhouse park while i took a nap.. later that day we took Dad to the airport and shipped him off the Bellsports sales meeting.

This week MOm and I have been hitting the pool. I love the water, and snacks of course.

Fathers day without Dad

I've been under the weather for the last few days, green stuff out the nose, fever, cough.. MOm says i sound like a smoker...not fun.

Dad was doing a stage race over the weekend, the High Uintas Classic. The plan was to drive up to Evanston on sunday and watch Dad race the final stage, maybe have diner and then go home..but mother nature had different plans. Dad had been racing in the rain all weekend and it didn't look like the weather would improve before the crit, so he recommended we stay home..so we did.

The weather did improve long enough for to get the final stage started but Dad's group ended up only doing 3 of the 16 scheduled laps..bummer for Dad.. on the up side Dad ended up 8th overall in the stage race and he won a sexy calves contest during the awards party so he brought home some decent diaper money.
