Birthday Party Post!

So what if this is the third post about my Birthday.. Its a big day for me.

Saturday was the official Part to celebrate my 1 year.

The Plan; Family and friends, Ethan games, Goulet burgers, fun for all!

Here are pictures from the day.. start to Finish.

Morning started with some nice clouds.

Pre-Party prep, Grandma slaved for days getting the house ready and baking tasty treats To be consistent with most 1st Birthdays, I decided to be sad and cry during Birthday song.

My guests song was pretty shocking, I did recover from my shock and decided to eat cake.

Then the gift giving began... my favorite part! Thanks to everyone who attended and blessed me with their presence.

After cake and song I was worn out..straight to bed, no bath.

My guest however started to really party, Bingo Ethan style was first up followed by Pin the Tooth On the Gums. I was told that MOm went to bed at 1am but Dad snuck off at 9:30.

Happy Birthday to me

Today is my Birthday! I'm One! I wasn't actually born till 6:59pm but I'm celebrating now anyway.

This week we've been baby sitting Baby Mia. Aunt Sarah drops her off and Uncle Cole picks her up.. Babies are cool.

I'm almost 1!

So I'm almost 1 year old, Friday is the official day but Saturday is the party.

If you didn't get your invitation then you weren't invited..just kidding, anyone can come if they bring a present.

My party will be so fun, we're going to play Ethan trivia, Ethan(bingo) and pin the tooth on the gums.

Food and beverages will be served, only my favorites though... bananas, breakfast sausage, mini waffles, hot dog slices and watered down apple juice...ya!

Grandma Goulet flew in for my 1 year party. Shes' going to do the baking of the cakes and cup cakes.

Since Grandma is in town we went to the Blue Plate Diner.. I like it there, cool stuff to look at and the Fries come in two sizes, steak and shoe string!

while we were there i drew a picture of a tree and Dad made me a watch.

City Creek Family ride.

The other day we went for a Family ride up City Creek Canyon. City Creek is a 6mile semi closed road, nice moderate climb that is flanked by a stream(city creek) so the ride is nice and cool.

MOm averaged 100watts for the 45minute climb.. thats a 5% improvement in power output compared to her Emigration #'s

On Saturday Dad and I joined up with some friends to watch the TofU race finish on Little Cottonwood. It was really fun to watch the racers go by.. we had a nice set up on the side of the road. We were helping the racers by handing of food and water and giving them encouragement.

Mornings are really nice these day, cool and crisp, lots of birdies chirping and hunting for worms in the back yard...I would think they would have given up by now as Dad didn't water the lawn for a month so the soil is not really conducive to worm living.

Either way I like to take in the sights and sounds of the back yard.

My other favorite thing to do is check out bikes, especially the chain..bikes are like an awesome mobile with cool parts that spin and make click sounds.

Graduation, Class of August 11th 2009

Tuesday was graduation day for Bugs at Little Gym. Its my second graduation from Bugs since its age based and I wasn't eligible for Birds till I became 11months.

Usually there are a lot of Dads at graduation day, the Moms trick them into attending cause its graduation but as I mentioned for most of us this is our second graduation. Dad did come to little gym this time, not cause he was tricked, he just had the time this week.

Drunk off Watermelon juice

Sometimes my Dad will make us watermelon slushies. Often I will drink to much and become belligerent, I will demand wild things of the dogs and look around in a confused manner.

For some reason Dad finds this amusing.
